EPISODE 15: E3 CONFERENCE, MUSE, THE KILLERS, FAT MAN on BATMAN
The LONerds are back with a new episode and it begins with a big announcement by Brandon. The podcast will now be going to an every other week format but have no fear, Brandon will be making sure you will be getting your weekly fill of LONerds goodness via YouTube. Both Brandon and David share what’s making them nerdy this week including the announcement of new albums from Muse (The 2nd Law) and The Killers (Battle Born).
They discuss what games impressed or underwhelmed at the 2012 E3 conference. Games include Halo 4, The Last of Us, Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed 3 etc.
Brandon clarifies that he gave John Carter a 5.5 out of 10 and David sends it into the Hall of Heroes with Maggie Gyllenhaal, never to be spoken of again…maybe.
In a hilarious turn of events, Brandon gets caught sitting in his car outside someones apartment stealing their internet but luckily he turns on the charm and turns an overly awkward moment into just a slightly awkward one.
Jon Legend in #CIPE fashion as always, enlightens us about the comic book world with his segment in what is a big week with release of some major comics including Batman #10. Brandon and David share what books they’re most excited about being released this week to the surprise of no one.
They end the show with some quick hitters. Brandon quickly reviews both Snow White and The Huntsman and Men in Black 3. David expresses his love for the best show on television, Person of Interest. Both Brandon and David are getting more and more excited for The Amazing Spiderman. They try to reign in their excitement at the fact that they have their tickets for the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX.
And of course David giggles like a little girl throughout.
