Your review of Megadeth was right on. They are still good decades later. It’s great to hear positive views about metal music on comic sites. Most people think metal, like comics books, is not worthy of artisitic merit. Love your show, i look forward to each episode.

I love Steven’s stance on this, and the one guy “inside” the industry finally has the stones to come out and take a stand on this.

I get why the big 2 want SOPA, but it is just a bad bill. I see industry guys constantly tweeting about other social topics but stay silent on this. Maybe to much pressure from their bosses?

To try to answer some of the questions you raised in the podcast:

-Yes, there will be another 4 issue mini series in Storm Born volume 2 that will finish off that novel. The ending of issue 4 is approximately the halfway point of the novel. There’s much much more that will be covered.

The collected edition of Volume 1 should be out soon-ish and will, I believe, contain bits from the next Volume. I do agree, an ad for Volume 2 in issue 4 would have been helpful.

-Yes, we are following the novel as closely as possible.

I was actually a huge fan of the novel series before even hearing about the comic so I have been adding as much as I can in visually that the script doesn’t have room for to help make the comic series as close to the novel as I can.

-Yes, Richelle is involved in the script writing process and a bit in the art process as well (helping a bit with designs and such).

-This comic has been reviewed/read very heavily by fans of the novels (a lot of people who haven’t even read the novel as well) and I’ve seen a great deal many of people prefacing a review or mention with “I’ve never read/haven’t for a while/not normally interested in comics”. So we seem to be reaching a very non-comic reading audience.
